Wanna know what? It´s saturday morning and I´m about to buy some sausages, beef and other nice munchables *g* ... and beer, and drive over to our rehearsal room in the early afternoon. I will make a nice BBQ, sitting outside in the sun noodeling my guitar in between the eating and drinking, hehe... what else could be nicer... I also should polish and maintain my guitars, two of them need to be re-stringed, our bassist will join also and maybe we figure out some new songs we could play. All in all I´m looking forward to a nice day... ;D

Hah, I'm so sick of sausages now.. It's a nationwide strike here in Norway now. The truckers that transport food and other household items to most(95%?) of the grocery stores refuse to drive, they have been doing so for a month now.. My local store has plenty of soda, beer, and sausages though.. Don't know why they still do, everything else has been looted The shops that do have food(because they're not organized with the striking transporters or something), cash in as much money on one day, as they would in an entire week normally.. Sorta hungry, wonder if I have any sausages..?

Oh yeah, almost forgot.. Tuesday or Wednesday last week, the soda and beer-manufacturers decided they'd strike too, so there was a real danger of running out of everything but sausages They settled after 2 days though.. aah, springtime is striketime, gotta love it..

Hi Steel
It's been great weatherwise here in the south east UK today, my wife has dragged me round stores and garden centres for the day and I have to pick my daughter up from work shortly.
I did manage to get free of my shackles to get strings for the Dot and my Fender accoustic , I also did score 6 of the litre bottles of Stella Artois which are in the fridge, I guess I better get the strings on before visiting the kitchen !!
So I'll take the dalmatian out for a couple of hours, then hopefully string the beauties in the garden and then pop a few lids !

Man.....this sucks!! It's a beutiful day in East Cnetral Illinois in the Midwest of the USA and I am sick as hell. The other day, I thought I was having a heart attack. Serious chest pains, clenching, couldn't breathe....very painful. Went to the doctor and turns out I have something else. Something called Pluerisy. Basically, and this is what I understood from the doc, is that the "bag" that contains your heart and lungs gets an infection in it. Everytime you breathe or move much, the outside of your lungs and heart move against the inside of this bag. When it has this infection, everything is very painful. So now I'm hopped up on pain killers and antibiotics. This is miserable....can't even go to work. Then again, I can't go outside or to rehersal.
Hopefully I'll be better next weekend. Memorial Day here in the US and I get a three day weekend!!!

Yeah, heart problems are a pain.. My dad was at a Steve Harley concert last month, and he was singing along and whatnot, and ended up at the hospital thats what great music can do with ya!

So far I've been having a great day today. In the morning I went to the DMV and finally got my driver's permit And later tonight I'm going to a local concert, which ought to be good. Plus I get out of school on Wednesday

Hey cage77...sorry to hear of your medical issues, hope that you feel better soon. Steel...weekend is just about over now...hope that it turned out to be as great as you hoped man. I painted a bathroom for my weekend relaxation...now it's time for wine, a really great thunderstorm and some guitar playing.

Hey yeah, I am a big fan of thunderstorms too. I like the way the sky darkens up, the wind picks up, the thunder and lightening start and get closer and closer and then this great cleansing rain hits.

Thanks guys....but I'm feeling better now. The meds my doc put me on work rather well and at least I'm up and about more. Went into work for the morning, but came home early to catch up on some guitar....lol....j/k. Haven't been able to play since last Thursday. Been noodling a little but my chest still hurts and can't stay in any one postion too long. I should be better by tomorrow or Wednesday.
Oh...oh.....and more importantly, the wife let me have a beer with dinner tonight!!! Haven't had one of those since last Thursday either.....makes for a rather long weekend, stuck inside, no guitar, no booze, just tv and the bed.
Anyways....I'm off to see if'n I can't sneak me another beer...lol....
Only a few more days and it will be the weekend again!!

That's good to hear, cage just don't play any Steve Harley, and you'll be fine in no time!

I am glad you are feeling better Cage.
BTW There is nothing like a good thunderstorm for getting some deep sleep.
Just as long as there are no tornados
