hey noel i only had to replace the power tubes so i got a matched quad set of jj 6L6GC's from bob at eurotubes. i've since started having trouble with squeeling from my reverb and tremolo. apparently when it got dropped some things may have gotten shaken a bit on the chassis. if i leave both of them off it sounds pretty darn good. i don't use much reverb anyway and like to use a little chorus to thicken it up a bit. sounds great with anything i put through it. there really is nothing better to build a sound with. its about as clean as it gets. you can always use an overdrive to get some gain (i use a BD-2) but i've yet to find an amp that will do clean like a TR. thing is super sweet. .........although...... i came across a guy that builds amps.....PTP wiring, will build to your specs....and does it for a rediculously low price for what your getting. i did this while i was traveling and had alot of extra cash. he has a 3-4 month waiting list so i paid for this two months ago. i should have it in about two weeks. its a 5E3 circuit (deluxe reverb) in a nice tweed cabinet. i asked for a slightly more powerful transformer and am using a P15R jenson alnico speaker. this thing could be super sweet. can't wait to play it. i'll send pics and try to get a sound clip when it comes in. littledawgamps.com/index.htmheres a link to jim's site great guy. sends pics of your amp in stages of construction. gas.......does it ever end ?......lol
