Hey guys,
I spent all day amp shopping today!!! Anyways, Im looking at the marshall MG100hdfx with MG412A cab. Any opinions with this solid state beast??
My real question however is this, A fellow guitar player from my school said that it is important to "break in" the amp. Apparently I've got to play it like 20 hours worth or something relatively quiet before I can "open it up" all the way..Is this true??
btw, does $955 Canadian sound like a good deal for this amp?

I have heard some good things about that amp, however I'm not familiar with what would be a good price. There is a "break in" period with any new speakers. Plug them into your stereo and set the loudness until you get about 1/8 in. jump in the cone. Let it run for about 24 hours and you should be good to go.

I never heard of breaking in an amp but if Chet says it's so, I'd be inclined to believe him.
Congrats on the new Marshall! I bet that setup rocks big time!!! Enjoy.
