This morning I found a link to the new Hiwatt website. The brand is seemingly no longer british, the principal office is based in the USA and the brand now belongs to Fernandes Guitars. Well, take a look at these full tube heads: especially the 20 watts Class A head might get the interest of some guys here. www.hiwatt.com/data/Custom.html

I love Class A power sections. they distort a bit differently, and the notes have a bit more roundness to my ears. I'm going to keep an eye on this...

I have to add the following new to me informations from a german board. The brand name HIWATT was owned by two different companies during the last years. The other company was Musicground from England. Both companies now made a deal. The amps are built in England, while Fernandes is the distributor for North America and Asia. Look at the english website from Great Britain... there is also a new high gain amp series available. www.hiwatt.co.uk
