Hey Marshall6pack.... My feeling would be if you find one snag it up, I guess I was lucky enough to be brousing around ebay and found the one, and won the one I had posted about recently....I know a few players with the head version of my amp 2204, and a friend had a 4104 model like the one I just got (I have been looking for one of these for a long while)and it's tone just blew me away....I didn't grab it up just to shine it up and put it away as a possible collector item....tho i'm sure if I keep it in good shape it's value will only increase(white tolex and all)...I have done some recharch on this combo and found that the later versions are not as desirable as the early ones as the went to pcb,s as apposed to the point to point wiring like in mine.... To me the single channel, master volume Marshall,s were always the best IMHO...I've just got rid of my AVT150 head and cab and replaced it with this JCM800 with no regrets.... ;D

TEK MY MAN.....ya i agree with you !!! ive only seen one white tolex version like yours, and it was in 1984. so as to the one i had, havent ever seen that one ever again, or one like it. but i will say this, in 1988 i stuffed polish tubes in it, and it totaly sounded awesome. now i swear, in 1992 , i was shopping at fistells electronics, here in denver colorado, and i bought a set of rca tubes that these amps take, but they where new old stock, still in sealed boxes..heres the best part. they still had the 1940s rca logos on them, so to me by far these were the best sounding tubes i ever snagged for the amp. they were still in the amp when i sold it, so unless i find another one, all i can do is just dream.....great chat my friend...keep us abreast of the amp bonding....and as always, good luck!!!! sean
