It looks interesting indeed. When speaking about PA systems there are many ways to achieve a good live sound, and there are terrible mistakes that are constantly repeated. What Bose says in one particular point is the following: "Most guitar amps project sound in a narrow cone, like the beam of a flashlight. The sound directly in front of the speaker can be very harsh, forcing many musicians to move to the side. And audience members caught in that narrow beam can get blasted with unintelligible sound." This goes especially for 4x12" enclosures... they sound awful when directly focussed to the player and the audience. It took me a couple of years to knowledge that my cabinets on stage should not be focussed into the audience, though it looks cool, but it is in any case the worst thing you could do in a small venue... In our rehearsal room my cabinets are in a position where noone is likely to step in the direction where they focus, even I make sure always to stand beside the cabinets and not in front of them. Of course you can set up a sound that will sound warm and smooth when you directly face the cabinet, but this sound will be very mushy when you play with a band. Whenever you set up a sound make sure to verify it from different angles and different locations... This goes also for combo amps, but their open enclosures do not sound that harsh and not that focussed.

...we actually have this system in our church...four columns...stacked two left/two right in the front...a bass unit is hung from the ceiling in each of the back corners....
...they sound...loud...natural....
...our bassplayer loves them...says they're what a lot of folks are going to for pa's...I think what he likes about them is that they don't take up a lot of space....
