Please vote and let us know something about your personal amplification! I use rack equipment, generally a YAMAHA DG1000 modelling pre-amp (the one with the motor pots that move as if turned by a ghost´s hand, lol... it looks totally amazing, hehe), a 500 watts (into 4 ohms) / 350 watts (into 8 ohms) solid state power amp, Laney 4 x12" cabinets, Nady Wireless (true diversity, and of course one that is forbidden here in germany due to certain limitations and laws concerning broadcasting but they can kiss my ***, lol, foul language from the admin´s lips), Peavey Noisegate, and a bunch of 19" FX devices that change from time to time.

Since you asked so nicely....lol...
My current live amp rig is a Marshall JCM 2000 TSL 100 head with a 1960A cab to boot. Good stuff.....
BTW, thanks for the great start on a new board. Hopefully some of the others will follow suit and migrate over here too.....

No large units here. All I do is annoy the neighbors.
Blues Junior - discovered tubes and this is perfect for me.
Peavey 112 express - My first amp and really not that bad. built like a tank
Crate MX15R - bought this because I travel alot. Its small has a reverb and not bad for a $49 amp

Just a practice amp for me.... Considering it could shake the house if I dared to turn gain and volume up...
Washburn BD12 Mad Dog (w/o reverb)

Just got a Fender Cyber Deluxe about a month ago. The thing is truly amazing.
Back in the day when I was giging I used a Marshall JCM 800 2205 50 watt lead series head into 2 4x12 cabs. Loudest 50 watts you could ever imaging and unbelivable tone.
My Cyber Deluxe is 65 watts and I've not yet giged with it but I don't think I would have any problems. Might need to get another slave amp to run in stereo if I decide to get rocking again.

I am using a little Marshall MG15CD- I had an old Peavy, and it decided, due to old age, to give up the ghost. I am looking for an 'old' tube amp to get a good blues sound. Irish Mike

I am looking for an 'old' tube amp to get a good blues sound. Irish Mike May I suggest a used LANEY LC30? Full tube, pure valve power and very bluesy indeed. And for it has only 30 Watts it can be driven into poweramp clipping at decent volume levels that won´t rip your ears off...

I just got a Fender Cyber Twin and the thing is a rock-n-roll monster. I could go on and on about it but I will just say Oh My GOD! This thing rocks!!! My first amp was given to me by my dad. A 1960 something Fender Princton it was a great first amp but had trouble keeping up with a drum set much less a full band Next I saved up for a Polytone Mini Brute and now wish I still had it (or the Princton for that matter) for my son who will get his first guitar this year at 5 yrs old. But I traded it in on a solid state Fender Montreux I liked it for about a week until I heard it up next to my dad's Fender Twin Reverb. Lost that one in pawn durring some hard times. Then in the same pawn shop a year later I found a Crate G250 which was good and loud. It was no Marshall or Fender but it got me in and out of gigs. I still have it but it likes to cut out from time to time and the thing needs work. But now I have my Cyber Twin and a Digitech RP 200. Between the FX out of the amp and the ones out of the pedal there aint much I cant sound like. ;D

Well i did not see any bass players list, so here I go. ;D I play my Allen Woody Bass through a Fender M-80. Thats 160 watts of lowend punch through a 15 sub. I just bought a Hartke 4X10, to go with it. It will handle another 300watts. Lets just say the people next door aint to happy with me right now :D.
