Steele: I sold a 05 Gibson Standard Lightburst and bought a "case queen" Epiphone Elite Standard Plus for 700 shipped. It's HoneyBurst photobucket.com/albums/b363/strictlyrhythm/Yes, It plays as well and sounds as good as my standard. The fit and finish (quality control) on the frets, fit, and finish are terrific. It's got great acoustic response, partly due to the thin finish, and has terrific sustain. If I could afford to get a regular standard Elite right now, I'd pull the trigger in a heartbeat. |
