You betcha!
I bought an Agile 2000 Cherry Flame top several months ago as my backup to my Gibson Les Paul Standard.
While the pickups were OK in the AGile 2000 (they are the same as the Agile 2500), they did not have enough KICK, and the neck pup sounded muddy.
I purchased a set of GFS Overwound pickups from guitarfetish.com (closeouts) on Fleabag and had them installed. I paid a paltry 29.99 for them and boy what a surprize.
The boys over at harmony-central were poo-pooing them because GFS has pruchased them from a another manufacturer.
These thinks totally kick! The output is higher. The highs are clearer, the lows are lower, and the distortion is to die for. They are solid clean in the neck position and get really blusy with the tone rolled off.
I'm buying at least one more set. My AGile 2000 is now a rock machine. What a difference!!!

I totally agree with you. I have 2 Agiles now and I can't say enough about them. My AD2500 is my favorite of the 2. It's got the hottest blue burst flame top I have ever seen. You're right, the pickups are a little weak. I changed them out for a Duncan Distortion in the bridge and a Duncan Jazz in the neck. Wow!!!! It sounds amazing! It just feels right and now it sounds right.
My other Agile I actually went to Rondo Music and picked it out. An AL2000 In Silver/black burst. Very nice LP type. I put in an EMG 81 in the bridge and an EMG 85 in the neck and again Wow!!! (this guitar is my answer to the Zack LP I always wanted)
They are REALLY GREAT QUALITY guitars for the money. I hate to say it but the quality is equal to or even better than the Epi's I have. Just think, you can get 2 Agiles for the price of 1 Epi. You definitely made a good choice.

Congrats on finding the inexpensive tone solution! Isn't it great when make those finds? Those Agiles sure sound like an outstanding deal. I checked out the different ones on the website and liked what I saw.
Enjoy your newfound tone Nirvana!

That seems to be a great site! Wonder if it would be a good upgrade to buy that LP electrical component kit?
