Guitar Kits

How many of our members have assembled their own electric guitar kits, and from your experience, how well did your project turn out? Were the parts of good quality? The electronics? It`s something I`be been considering for a while. FYI I live in an apartment so I can`t get involved in any intricate machining other than maybe some sanding and finishing out on the screen porch. I`m hoping for a Tele or Strat style if I can locate a well made kit. Any and all assistance is greatly appreciated.

I've never done it, but you don't save any money..
all parts has some awesome kits, but they arn't cheap. very good quality
