Woohoo, look at this beauties... I am have a big G.A.S. recently, so I came across several offers concerning SX (or often mentioned as Essex here), I googled around and came to Rondomusic where I intended to find some information on SX guitars. These are not available on regular ways here, they are only offered on Ebay by a guy who imports them. I found not the ones below I am drooling at, but I found a lovely Agile! As well not available in Germany, but here it is: www.rondomusic.net/ad2800blu.html Hmm, the two guitars of the SX brand are the following. What do you guys think? An Explorer cgi.ebay.de/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=3771555218&ssPageName=STRK:MEWA:IT , (the descriptions are all in german, but scroll down to the bottom of the page, there are amounts of photographs) and a V cgi.ebay.de/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=3771470328&ssPageName=STRK:MEWA:IT both looking very close to the classic ones from Gibson. Oh boys, I think I might go for one... which would you recommend? They look both very well made and have set necks. It says Tokai quality, solid mahogany bodies and necks... wooohoo! The nice thing about the V is it has the SX brandname only on the trussrod cover.... How easily could I fake a Gibby with a headstock decal... So what do you guys think? Would you spend 199 Euro (about 255 $)? Any comments are highly appreciated! By the way, have a nice new year, don´t drink too much and take care! Sincerly Steele.

My new Agile AL 3500 might arrive today (for sure on Monday)
My wife can't understand the excitement I feel over the delivery.
So I won't be able to answer your questions about the models you wrote about, but will be able to give my impressions about a different Agile- soon!
G.A.S. is such a wonderful thing:)

Beauties indeed If it was my choice I would go for the V. I like flying Vs more than explorers...but the choice is up to you. They're both great looking guitars though.

It came, it came. My Agile AL3500 in Honeyburst came.
SWEET is all that comes to mind. It is beautiful. A great finish, solid, sustain forever, I am in love.
It makes even me - a real hacker- sound pretty good. It is SWEET!

I'm finishing my project (formerly fretless) with a maple sx neck, the bass I got from them felt fantastic out of the box and even better after I set it up and switched out the pickups. There's probably not a better deal out there for the quality materials and craftsmanship you get (the word on the street is that the company is one of the ones Epi farmed out to). Ty
