I've been checking out their web-site, and you can get one the standard way for $ 749.00, but you can also choose from a long list of things you'd like on yours, so it will be (hopefully) unique to yourself alone. The options include the body, and neck woods, headstock veneer, hardware color, pickups, top wood, colors, frets, inlays, coil splitters, phase switches, almost every variable imaginable. www.carvin.com/products/colors.php?colorTemplate=E&P1=GTR&P2=DC150&CFG=2 This is the color page, and you can see all the variations by moving the cursor over the one you want to see. Anyone have a Carvin, and if so, what do you think?

Hey Mandough...sorry for the very late reply but I have not been around here for a while. I own and play a Carvin guitar which I built from a kit I bought from them. It is a Bolt with a swamp ash body, ebony neck and stock electronics. I have to say it is the single best playing and sounding strat style guitar I have ever played. I have no experience with the factory built Carvins but there is a bbs on the Carvin site that is just full of guys who will talk about their guitars forever, many of whom own multiple Carvins. I suggest you go there for more info on the guitar that you are interested in getting. They will help you out. Gotta tall you that you cannot go wrong with Carvin, really nice, well crafted instruments. Good luck! Wierdsley
