Hi Tekrek, I hope it sounds as well as it looks. The Career guitars were quite popular here some years ago. They were well made and not the cheapest ones. But like every korean guitar they lost value rapidly. The seller said the pickups were somewhat different than Fenders, not as shrill and had more mids. The body is seemingly mahogany. By the way, the guitar is not red, blue or white on it´s back side. It has see thru laquer finish. The painting is only on the top and has a creme binding. As soon as I have the guitar I will make a full review. Can´t wait to have it! *drool*

This morning it was delivered. It´s in awesome condition, the finish is flawless and the friendly guy I bought it from even added a gigbag for free! I plugged it in, tuned it and played it for a short while now and must say it is definitely a keeper. Nice single coil sound, as I expected, sounds like a typical stratocaster, in any case I will keep the pickups... especially the neck pickup sounds sweet for soloing. The body really seems to be mahogany and is made of three pieces. Very nice laquer finish and proper creme binding. The neck is not as slim as on Ibanez power strats, it´s more like a nice thick neck you know from Epiphones and the fretboard is rather flat, too... absolutely non fender-like. For a guy who plays Les Pauls normally it´s a nice guitar and feels very good. The tuners seem to be alike the ones to be found on mexican Fenders and Squiers, they work properly and hold the tuning very good. Later I will check the guitar in our rehearsal room with my amp and 4x12" cabinets. I hope it makes a good impression as it does at home with my Behringer V-Amp. Well, I will doodle on it some more now... hehe! ;D
