How do you like your tennessee rose ? I use to have a tennessean chet atkins model. The 6119-64 is the other version of the tennessee rose and a remake of a sort (although the pickups were different)of the one I had. Do you like the way it plays....how about the tone. I've been jonesin for another tennessean ever since I let the other one go.

I have a set of Dean Markley Blue Steel 11's on it right now, but I'm thinking of putting a set of Dean Markley Flat Wound 11's on it. There are 2 different Tennessee Rose being made right now, one has real f-holes the other painted on f-holes. I have the real deal.

Yes, the other one is a copy of the one I had. The chet atkins model. Gretschs are great guitars. I'll have another one one day.

Wow, what a great collection of leftys!
Some interesting, hard-to-get models (Ric 370/12, Gretsch TR, JT 135) as well as the usual lefty "suspects" (Epi LP, SG and Fender Strat and Tele).
Being a lefty (and a relative newbie-only about two years) myself, I can really appreciate the collection that you've assembled.
Having said that, here is my "starter collection":
-c. 1975 Ibanez 645 Accoustic (converted to left) -2003 Fender Strat-Standard-MIM -2003 Epi Casino (my favorite) -2003 Epi Les Paul Standard Plus
(I had major GAS pains last year!)

Actually none of them were hard to get for me. I got lucky I guess. Rickenbacker will make any of their models left-handed for you, you just have to wait. It took 11 months to get mine, but it was built for me and nobody elae played it!

Well......years of hardwork and collecting pay off sometime....lol. Yeah, I've got some cheap ones, but each one was bought for a certain purpose. Some did their job, went in their cases and into the closet. Others are still hard at work not ready for retirement. Oh....the wife gave me an early birthday present today. Got an Ibanex SZ320. Pretty sweet guitar I must say....

CAFeathers and cage how do yall compare your Fender accoustics to your other accoustics? I like Fender electrics a great deal but I have never had the pleasure of playing a Fender accoustic that I like. I mean the ones that I played did not suck but they just did not feel or sound as nice to me as a Gibson or Martin. Your input is valuable to me, seeing as how yall can compare within your own collection.

I rate my acoustics in this order:
Takamine Agile Ovation Fender
I have to be in the mood for the Takamine with it being a 12 string and all. The Agile is the most comfortable to play and has an excellent tone. The Ovation is a mid-size and is not as comfortable as the Agile, however it does have an excellent tone also. The Fender, well, it is not very comfortable, the neck does not feel right to me, tone wise it is decent (nothing to write home about).

How much was your Agile. My dad bought my little half brother (hes 6 Im 33 go figure) a 3/4 scale Agile accoustic for his first guitar. I like the heck out of it. I am getting accoustic G.A.S. real bad here lately for some reason. I want an Epi Hummingbird but prob won't spend that much on an accoustic. For that kind of cash I see a Epi LP Standard coming home with me instead. I dont like the 100 dollar Epi accoustic and have not seen many Agiles and would like to know the price range we are talking about here.
