Hey all:
This is my first post-I hope I don't screw it up!
Has anyone gotten their hands on any of the new, "affordable" Gretsch Electromatics? The hollow body is exceptionally sweet-looking, IMHO. I'm just wondering if anyone has any first-hand knowledge. My Casino and LP Std Plus keep me very entertained, but you never know when GAS attack can sneak up on you!

Welcome aboard, your post was just fine.
You can not go wrong with a Gretsch. Gretsch/Fender make an excellent guitar.
I have a pre-Fender Gretsch Tennessee Rose and love it.

Ok cool thanks for the info. My first electric was a Cretsch Corvette 1962 I think. My dad still has it. Beautiful in its simplicity.

Fender even went as far as to do a CatScan on a Gretsch 59 to find out exactly how it was put together on the inside so they could go back to that style. I guess that Gretsch had made some changes to them and Fender called in Brian Setzer to get his opinion on the best sounding Gretsch models.
