Are they made in the same factory... or is one better than another? What other guitar brands are of the same guality, and affordability as Agile? villian

Well I have two Stagg Les Pauls, both with set neck and both a bit sloppy, but no big things that I wasn´t able to straighten out. Only some loose screws, a pickup ring that was a little bit beveled, no big problems at all... Look at the Les Paul Copy in the gallery, not the black one... the other in vintage or tobacco sunburst or whatever it is. The style and shape of the cutaway, the finish, the somewhat yellowish creme plastic parts, it looks very alike the Agile LP I saw online. Inlays and headstock were somewhat different though. Well, I believe that lots of affordable guitars come out of very few factories, but they come under different brand names and slight modifications in shape and finish. There´s no need to say "Agile vs Stagg", the higher priced Staggs are really good, they also have nice affordable acoustics (our keyboardist has one, maybe I take a picture soon), their stock pickups are at least better than the ones Epiphone had in the past before they switched over to the USA design pickups. I bet Agiles are very good also, but unfortunately not available here, maybe they are from the same manufacturer, and maybe Agiles are for the U.S. market while the Stagg guitars are for the european or german market? Or are Stagg guitars sold in the USA as well? I also have this dirt cheap Apollo Les Paul with the bolt on neck, I found some informations when I googled a bit. Obviously they were sold at Harmony Central once also. I had a Cort bass guitar that was exactly an Ibanez SR 300. All that stuff comes from the same factories and when buying an affordable guitar judge it with your hands and ears, and if it feels good and sounds good it is a good guitar.

Steel seems to have good luck with the Stagg brand tho. Agiles are not perfect, but for the $$$ it's a joke. I'd easily pay three times what I paid for my Agile Semi-hollowbody to get a guitar anywhere near it in tone. -James

I have no experience with the Stagg brand either, however I own an Agile A/E and an Agile A/E Bass and you can't get any better for the price!!!!!

By the way... I wonder what happened to "villian" who is now known in the member list as "villain" ...normally guests are not allowed to reply to threads nor were they allowed to start new threads... VILLAIN are you out there? I already sent you a message... Did you have problems with logging in and you picked a new name and deleted the other one? Strange things happen... Irish Mike wrote me an email he could log in as well... I will have to check it out...
