If I was really famous and about to sign an endorsement sale contract that says I have to play one guitar model exclusively I would say LES PAUL. But first I would suggest that they should manufacture a signature model for me... When you are famous you can afford to be a bit extortionate, hehe... and demand something real splendiferous... ;D *just kiddin´* I just mean Les Pauls are the guitars I like best.

If I were famous,...(yeah right),...LOL
It would be a Les Paul. Probably Gibson or Epiphone.
IMHO,..... I think the Les Paul is the ultimate guitar style in body shape and general appearance. Immediately recognized on stage or in studio.
I had always dreamed about owning and playing an electric, well,...when I turned 50, I got my first electric, an Epiphone LP.

I went with the Gibson LP. There are many things that I enjoy more about my '71 Gibson LP Standard than the American '57 RI Fender Strat I have.
However, none of my Epi's can compare with those two. Not a bash against Epi, just a simple fact considering everything I own. I do, however, love each and every one of my guitars. Each one has a place and purpose.

I went with gibson LP because they are awesome. But then the PRS McCarty Hollow body looks incredible too (too bad I don't have the $3,400 to buy it )

I'd love to have a 54 reissue, but I'd rather be known for something no one else can have.
