Out of the topic:
A friend of mine got a Hondo les paul custom. I have heard great comments about it and his is no exception. What do you people think about them. Also, has anyone heard of "The heritage", that company that was formed by ex-workers of Gibson that make les paul replicas that are as good or even better than Gibson's own but are much, much more affordable. I wonder if anyone has had experienced these beauties and what they think of them.

Greco, Tokai and Burny (also known as Fernandes) are highly respected brands at least in Germany. Heritage guitars have almost the same cult status like the Gibsons have. They are of marvellous quality and have a very good reputation here.

I can't comment about the Hondo Les Paul, but I used to have a Hondo Strat copy back in the day. It was a great guitar, kind of a "Charvel" copy. It was black metallic with red binding around the body with a matching neck. It had a pointy headstock with 2 humbuckers and gold hardware. I really loved it. It played great. Very solid feel to it and it could ROCK OUT!! I'm sorry I don't have it any more.

Heritages are awesome guitars.

Better than Gibson production line quality for less money.

I've got a 1988 CM150, and it more than holds it's own against my Gibsons......

Wow metalheaduk, you`ve got quite a stable there. 1 or 2 more and you could open your own guitar shop if you don`t already have one.
