All this talk of new gear around here can really get a guy jonesin`. I was going to go for an Agile AD2500 Albino, but somebody outdrew me and I couldn`t wait any longer for something new. I went for the Epi Dot Studio in Worn Cherry(clearance at MF for $249), along with a Valve Jr. combo. They came today and I can`t stop noodling with them. The Dot has a much richer/warmer sound than my LP. No p`up selector switch problems, no input jack problems. If I set the action any lower the strings would be sitting on the frets. Sweeeeet! Talk about a nice little amp! I live apartment style so the loudness factor prevails around here. At low volume the sound is sweet qand chimey. Crank the volume and it`s Blues city - Rough and raunchy. I`d like to keep going on about this setup, but I have to pick the Dot up again. It keeps calling my name, Jimbo, Jimbo. Gotta go now. Peace, out. Jim

Nice score been thinking about an Agile also. That worn cherry Dot has had my attention for a while also. To many guitars not enough time or money. Oh well enjoy your new additions...Ed

Hey Ed. Just an aside regarding the Worn Cherry Dot. It`s a much redder finish than shown on the Epi web site. Theirs is showing a slightly brownish tone, while the guitars I`ve seen are leaning more toward the color of a ripe cherry. A rich deep red. Great axe, especially for $249.
