Obviously the cost needs to be over £100 (and less than £30K!!)...the consumer credit act gives information about purchases, but when it comes to holidays, things are less easy to understand. Most tour operators I'm looking at say that your credit card insurance is usually 'not sufficient' - I'm inclined to think this is so they can sell you their insurance, but are they referring to the statutory protection on your card or additional insurance? Also, if anyone could offer information on common pitfalls with holiday insurance, and catch-you-out exclusions, nasty surprises, etc, I would be much obliged! This is a for a winter sun soliday with no sports or business purpose. Thanks! ========== Holiday Insurance
