Has anyone out there every moved their strap pin, I think that's what it's called. You know the little thing that sticks out that the strap goes over. Any body evey drilled a new hole screwed in a new pin and filled the old hole? In order to move the neck up... I'm kind of thinking about having someone do it, but I'm not sure. I saw one of Slash's guitars in the hardrock museum and he had a hole in his les paul in the front that he hadn't filled in and the stap pin was an inch closer to the neck. He plays his guitar pretty low, so he proabably needs the neck raised so he can reach the fretboard, cool. villian

I imagine you could, but in most cases the strap buttons are already in the best spot on the guitar-and then you run into the problem of having a hole in your guitar if you move it...

I agree, Im sure the factory has put them where they are because it's the best place to put them. Of course you can change this around if you'd like but personally I'm not one for putting holes in my guitar.

the strap peg is positioned to the best possible balance of the guitar. i personally wouldnt want another hole in mine.
