I bought it a year ago and never used it. The pin is still in there. When I shake it, I can hear the fire extinguisher powder in there. Also it doesn't feel empty. The gauge says it needs to be recharged.
What exactly does recharging a fire extinguisher entail? And why would I need to do this even though I have never used this?
