I like everything but the contour. www.epiphone.com/default.asp (go here and click on the guitar to see the contour and other views) I am not so sure about that. And where it says body material, what does mahogany with chambers mean? The quilt they show on the epi site is as pretty as Ol'Blue, and I have only seen a few that can keep up with Blue.( no rhyme intended) Zac |

It looks sweet. I personally like the "belly cut".
I am taking an eduacated guess on the chambers and saying under the cap there are hollowed out sections.

I wonder if they were going for a special tone errrrr something? I had this no name LP copy years ago. It was a piece. But if you tapped the cap with your finger you could tell it was hollow under most of the cap. It had an interesting tone. Not quite what you think of with a semi hollow bod, but close. I wonder if that is what they are going for? And now that I think about it the belly cut might serve me well too. ;D Zac |

How is the tone on these? I would think it would be somewaht muffled.
I still think the F-Hole would be a better design for that, I like all that hollowbody goodness to boom to life.

I was really impressed the first time I saw this. The colour and the golden tuners and pickups. But I like the traditional body without the belly hole.
