Hey so im close to finishing college at the age of 18 and ive been seriously thinking of joining the army or the royal marines once ive finished, but im not sure which one I should join. Ive heard that you have to go tour for 6-9 months every now and again in the royal marines, and will also experience much more conflict, whereas with the army your more likely to just be on base for a good amount of your time serving and going on tours a bit less.
