My neighborhood is located in Hiram, GA. About 30 minutes from Atlanta. My home is four years old and I was thinking about selling and moving to accommodate my commute to work.
I know the economy is a mess and my house value, along with millions of others, is below what I owe which makes it difficult to sell. Right next to my neighborhood they are building the Atlanta Film Studio, which will open by the end of this year. And on the other side of my neighborhood, about 1/4 mile down the road, they are building, or soon to build, a 250 bed county Wellstar Hospital.
Do you think that any of these two businesses will raise the value of my home? Please explain if you can.
