I was diagnosed with Type 1 a little over a month ago, and recently i've noticed that my hair has started to fall out. Like when i take my hair tie out, there is always a lot of hair wrapped around it, if i wear my hair down and run my fingers through it i get a good amount of hair, and especially when i shower i notice a lot of hair loss.
I guess my questions are:
Does Type 1 Diabetes cause hair loss?
Will the hair loss ever stop?
and will my hair ever be as thick as it was before?
