I havnt got much experience in buying guitars as you will proably work out im looking for some advice on my decision to sell my sheraton. I have just purchased an epiphone les paul custom black beauty for £325 gbp and I have my epiphone sheraton on ebay as we speak its a tobacco sunburst colour was made in Samick, Korea in dec 1997 this was my first ever electric guitar and is still in near perfect nick. I could use some advice on how much i should accept for it (should i even sell it?) and how it sizes up to my new epiphone or have i just taken a step down? any advice or comments would be welcome

I personally love the semi-hollows, and while I don't necessarily love the mini-humbuckers, the Sheraton is still a sweet little filly. The black beauty will offer you some more tricks for your bag with the pickups and you'll get a brighter sound, but I suppose it all depends on what you prefer. I've got a $1000 guitar that's not seen daylight for a week while I play my $300 strat several hours a day (go figure), I still like my Les Paul, it just doesn't offer what I need right now in my music. I'd say you have a pretty sweet guitar either way (BTW, they're probably worth about the same, $600-$700). Ty
