much talk about speakers

i have a mag called guitar one it comes w/ a cdrom. they have a review about the new eminence speakers. the red coat/ patriot series. they are pretty sweet. you can check out a few of them on the eminence site.

my fave is the swamp thing on the patriot series. i am considering gettin a couple of these. tell me what you think. also check out the guitar one mag. its got alot of variety of tab and music.

i just bought an empty 2 x 12 cab off ebay. looking for speakers. the swamp thang along with the governor were two on my list along with the celestion g12h30 and the hellatone 30 from avatar which is suppose to be the same speaker.
i like mainly blues and texas, southern blues mostly and rock. wanting to find a sound without harsh brightness and a thick rich bottom end. hoping someone on the board had experience with one or more of these speakers.
best prices i've found have been at avatar. they sell the swamp thang for $49 plus $8 shipping a piece.
if you buy them tell me how you like them.

sand man, eminence has a texas version of the patriot.i think very much what you are looking for. try the site i think its one of the ones you can sample.

I have heard the Texas Heat speakers and they do sound great.

Yes, They came in yesterday. I installed them last night. I'll post a short review in a few days.
