Can anyone verify if this is a good deal or not? The seller has great feedback and the price looks great. I've been wanting this guitar for a while, but haven't been able to get enough money to buy it reatail. So I checked my favorite online sales place, EBAY! I found this to be the best deal. One of the few standard plus's with cherry sunburst.

Well, it is one of the newer upgraded ones with the Gibson designed pickups which are really better than the ones they used before, and it has the Grover tuners. Do in any case ask if you really purchase the guitar that is shown, or if that picture is just an example. Make sure you get the actual version. 499 U.S. $ seems to be a good price to me. And when you ask, also ask about the serial number. Maybe the dealer feels free to give you at least the first decals. I, S or U would mean the guitar is still of korean production. I still have doubts concerning the chinese ones.
