that probably was a sweet axe at one time or another. anyone who would put a guitar on and or against a rock in the very least should be castrated. looks like they went into battle w/ it. not worth $200 to me. i like the maple though.

Being the owner of a 1998 Birdseye Heritage Cherry Limited Edition 'Standard' I ask the same question. This guitar is perfect with a sweeter top than most Gibs I see... and a beauiful and mellow tone to boot. Let's face it.. Epi is about Gibson market share.. not about Gibson quality and Gibson tone. I love mine and will hold it till it's worth a ton or I die!!
