The picture is quite small, but I consider the guitar by the headstock to be an "ordinary" Epiphone, not an Elitist... or do I need glasses?

Same here, looks like a 2002 or earlier standard. Certainly not all that he cracked it up to be - but then I guess other people have caught on as the bidding isn't anything high.

Probably a perfectly good LP, but no "hand picked from the factory elitist." Do they even make Elitists in that color?

Like I keep saying, unless you are 110% certain of your "bargain" don't buy off e bay, sure sell on it, but if you do buy a "pup" just giving the seller a naughty boy rating isn't going to get you the cash back.
