...well...it's almost five months since Christmas...my project is at a logical conclusion....for now.................... ...this past Christmas I received............. .............four pointers for the controls............................ ............18" x 12" 5-ply blank (b-w-b-w-b)..................... .............jazzbox/vintage-style pickguard support.......... ...my music teacher tells me that everybody evenually mods their ax to some extent....my mods are reversible............ ...with the exception of the headstock....my Epi Dot now looks like a Historic '59 ES-335.......natural body/mahogany neck.....a Gib-iphone................

...sound the same.........in my hands either one would sound just as lousy....... ;D........in the right hands I'm sure the beer version would sound just as good as the champagne version.....or.....in the right hands the distinction between a Gibson and an Epiphone would be apparent........it isn't to my untrained ears.......in other words.......this has nothing to do with sound......just looks................... ...pictures are a "no-no"......we don't have a gallery.... ...I'll stop there before the "powers that be" descend upon this thread and spank me................. ...my music teacher...who is exceptionally discriminating....says it looks really good.....it really looks close to a '59 Dot....I know where the mistakes are....with the remaining blank...I have enough to make approx three more scratch plates.....it's a learning experience.....when I get tired of looking at this one....I'll make a better one................. ...your website about the GoldTop is beyond my personal capabilities...I'd really like to do something like that to show off my gear...................

The forum seems quite desertic nowadays what's the matter? Making a website is not actually difficult you can use software like MS Word or MS Frontpage to do it even without knowledge. And for picture I think PHP will still work here the only thing to do beeing finding a free provider to host them.

well..i don't think its deserted, i think people pop in....just not posting much. at least thats it for me. i've found more for me on the telecaster site lately since i've gone crazy for telecasters and fender amps. and like Geezer said, people i guess are pretty happy with their current setup (but we all know GAS gets us in the end...pardon the smelly pun) i think it will liven up some...just going through a period. too good a board to die.
