I was wondering if any of those who like to go without their pick guards on their Les Pauls (or any Epi poly finished guitar for that matter) do with the holes? I've always just left them be, but it sure would be nice to fill it and cover with a drop of poly. I'd imagine that a hole in an ebony finished guitar would be the easiest to blend and hide. Just looking for any thoughts or procedures you guys might have pertaining to this. Thanks much, 9.9

Thanks much, 9.9 I've always just replaced the screws back into their holes after removing the pickguards. Protects the threads and keeps track of the screws... you could even paint the screwheads to match....

I agree with Ol' Geezer, that´s exactly what I do. Maybe the mood will take you somewhen and you want to re-install the pickguard again. You would be sorry if you filled the holes for the screws.
