I've got a 70's Harmony H166 that I picked up off ebay for about $100 and I've been wondering about strings for it. It was shipped with electric strings on it, which gave it a beautiful, low action that I could bend on, but after about a week I switched to Martin light (.012) phosphor bronze strings that raised the action a bit more and unfortunately made it a bit less playable. Are there any electric strings I could use in the .010 range that would keep the rich acoustic sound that the bronze strings have? Or are there any smaller bronze strings that would have the potential for bends? Thanks Ty

Dean Markley www.deanmarkley.com makes PhosBronze and VintageBronze Acoustic Strings in 10's. I have switched my Acoustic Guitars over to FlatWound Electric strings. Dean Markley 11's for one and D'Addario 10's for the other. I like the tone and feel much better.
