I have an Epiphone (my only Epiphone) EJ-300S in natural finish. Very beautiful looking, playing, and sounding guitar. Sounds great when I play it amplified!

Hey all...I have two acoustics. One is an Espana nylon string that was made in Sweden...go figure..I bought it in 1965 or so. The other is a Martin D18 which I bought in 1970...what a great guitar!

You look after that Morris Tornado, they don't make them any more and they are starting to be worth money. I friend of mine has one, bought in 1987 but he's only really been using it regularly for last 2 years, fantastic blue finish.
It is a wonderful guitar, I've offered him money for it plenty of times but he won't sell it to me, just lets me use it when I want. Fantastic tonal range unplugged and a very neat, simple on board pack of electrics.
You lucky man !!
Chris

I used to play Fender acoustics, but now I play:
1. Epiphone John Lennon EJ-160e 2. Epiphone Chet Atkins SST (I think it counts as an acoustic!)
The EJ-160e is without a doubt my favorite acoustic guitar! Well worth the $500 I paid for it on eBay! The set-up is killer and the tone is so rich, regal and meaty. Love the bass, and I dare say this acoustic has a natural crunch and growl all it's own. Awesome Epi!

As far as owning Epiphones, I purchased two new ones last year. I have a PR-350SR solid spruce top with solid rosewood body. And I have the PR-350SM with solid spruce top and solid mahogany body I was really suprised at the sound and the quality of these two guitars when I bought them new out of the box. Later I had bone nuts and saddles installed and that made these two dreadnoughts really shine. I play these two guitars most of the time now, compared to my other acoustics I own. I also have a Martin D-28, a Guild D-4, and a Gibson J-45. I play with small time country-bluegrass-folk bands in my area, and my two Epiphone 350's I use the majority of the time. They really hold their own. With the PR-350SR and SM phased out by Epiphone, I hope the new replacement DR-350SR and DR-350SM can do as well as the PR's.

I was at my uncles place when I went to se my family and relatives now last week.. He talked about a friend of his that has a Gibson Hummingbird from the 60s, and that it somehow(could have, whatever, I don't remember exactly) had belonged to an american folksinger, and that it got stolen/lost or something.. He had an indian sounding name, can't remember, anyone know anything about this?

Seagull S6+CW. Incredible solid Cedar top cutaway with LR Baggs electronics. Check these well built, low cost, Canadian guitars, as well other family members - Art and Lutherie; Simon and Patrick and Norman. Micman, you have the guitar I`ve been saving for! Aren`t they built/owned by Breedlove Guitars? It sounds as though you`re really satisfied with your choice. I had an opportunity to fool around with one at a local shop, and I was amazed at the sound and quality for the $$$. Only a couple hundred more $ to go, and it will be mine! ;D Jim

I've got a Simon & Patrick "Pro Mahogany" with a solid spruce top and a solid mahogany back. I just picked up a Simon & Patrick sunburst "S&P-6 Cedar" with a B-Band pick-up for playing live. It's got a solid cedar top and wild cherry back and sides. S&P guitars are made by the same company that makes Seagull/Norman/Art & Lutherie/Godin guitars and are an unbelievable value for the price. Check out www.lasido.com. I also have a Dobro DWF60 roundneck, if that counts as an acoustic.

My first was a beat up old Silvertone, I think it came from Sears, of all places. Then I got a Yamaha, but I can't remember the number, maybe F150? It was from the 1970s though. I played that sucker for decades till it got crushed in an accident. Nowadays I play a Dean Performer SE-12.

Don`t I feel like a Dummy. I was jonesin` really bad for a Seagull SW 6 until I went to the local guitar shop and really got into one. That neck is not for my short fingers. Everything else about it is perfect, but it just didn`t fit right, you know? However, luckily? for me TOWMBO was with me and suggested I check out "This pretty one over here". I did, and the rest is, well, you know the deal. My new Alvarez RF20SM is pretty. Pretty inexpensive, pretty plain, pretty much made for strummin` and pickin`, not lookin` at. That Mahogany sure has a sweet sound. Now I have to find a new nut and saddle for my soon to be acoustic slide playin`Yamaha. Sometimes life isn`t fair, othertimes it`s great. Jim

man, did I forget to tell you about my new acoustic??
I got a great deal on the Frankfurt Musikmesse on a Martin D-28. The real thing. The only acoustic you'll ever need. Don't ask me how I could afford it, I don't exactly know, but I had to get this one. And it's the best acoustic I've ever played. It wont be my last - I don't think there is "the last guitar" - but it's the best I've ever had.
