:Dhcoll, when I read that link I had to look. I live in Brockport, NY now and the Rochester Democrat and Chronicle is our local rag. I guess I haven`t taken much time to peruse the forum lately. The wife and I came down to visit the family in Florida about a week before the Daytona 500 (Yes I went to it and froze my butt!) and haven`t gone home yet. It`s been way too nice to sit at the PC for any length of time.

No, I don`t attend SUNY, man. I`m a young 53 year old disabled guy, who lives with his wife in his 34 year old son`s basement apartment. Thanks for the compliment, though.

...any idea about the guy in the article....probably an Eastman School graduate...........
...I'm beginning to have a change in heart....if Hendrix could burn a strat for art's sake.....guess this guy can pull the top/bridge off of a classical guitar............

No idea concerning the "village idiot". Different strokes for different folks, I guess. I figure it`s his guitar and he can make a planter out of it if he likes. I kind of enjoy playing my guitar, not dismantling it. I`m pretty sure that`s what they teach at the Eastman School, too. My buddy Bob attended Eastman for theory and composition but I don`t recall him taking his piano apart at any point in his musical carreer. Maybe the guy went to RIT!
