has any one checked out the new version of guitar one magazine? it has a cd rom included. very cool. it has audio as well as video of lessons, licks, songs, and musical instrument reviews. if you have not it is a must get item. $8 amer. the review i like the most is the eminence speaker review. buy it. check it out. you will like it!

It's an ok mag
problem here in the uk is it doesn't come with the cd rom !!

bummer. i like it because its got some unusual material.ill look for the site and find out why they dont carry the cd in the uk.

Edit: Wow I hope to hell the mag is better than the forum about the mag. Its your typical slam everyone and trash everything forum that makes this place such a nice place to be.

I Got my first issue in the mail the other day. I like the articles, reviews and the tabs, basicly the whole thing. The CD Rom is cool too. I like the video lessons and scales and stuff. It's alot easier than reading scales from tabs I have never heard. The first issue I got was the december Hair Metal one. Hair Metal really aint my bag, but there is some other cool stuff in there. I also dig the jam along tracks on the CD Rom, the bass lines sound like crap from a key board but other than that, they are pretty cool. If I were asked to rate the mag I would have to give it a 4 out of 5 stars w/the CD Rom. Without? 3 out of 5.
