Epi. Thunderbird G&L Truibute 2500 Fender Hot-Rod P-Bass.....
I just did the sound I get out of my Thunderbird and I didn't have to go into debt to get it. It is one of the best basses I have ever played.

:DWell, I am a part time bass player... originally a guitar player, that swapped over to the bass for a specific band I played in from 1995 - 2000, and then returned to the guitar. But I play bass from time to time on recordings. Most recently a Washburn Les Paul Bass (at least shaped alike a Les Paul) was donated to me. A pal gave up music and so he gave it to me! Long scale, set neck and active electronics... I am really amazed about it and never played a bass that sounded that powerful. It´s about 20 years old and I guess it must be american made. I should post a picture soon, maybe someone here can help me to to identify and verify this lovely instrument. Steele

I've got a Moser Custom Shop BVi. The only one of it's kind. It's definantly a conversation piece. It was designed by Neal Moser. Neal did a pro set-up on it for me and the action and tone is amazing.
There will be more like it available some time in the future, along with other radical designs and some old school strat designs too.
I'm thinking maybe I might try to add a epi SG bass to the collection soon. I like them.

My main axe is a Carvin LB75 5-string, neck-thru, active 9v onboard preamp, solid mahogany body and neck. I bought it new in 1995, and have been gigging with it regularly since then. I can't say enough good things about it. Solid, reliable, stays in tune, and sounds fantastic. Everyone I have played or recorded with loves the sound of it, and it is beautiful to behold. The neck on it is the finest, fastest bass neck imaginable.
I also have a Dean Performer Plus 5-string acoustic. Nice instrument for $500.

I play a Gibson. I just bought this one like 2 months ago. This is my 3rd guitar.
