Paul's did have a Bigsby alright! So I'd say this is Paul's. George's finish often looks a little lighter on pictures, Paul'shas a bit more of the dark edge to it, I think...

...Paul's Casino...because it's older...has a shorter Gibson-like headstock...John and George's have the longer headstock...like the current Epi production.......
...shortly after the Hello Goodbye promo...George and John had their Casinos' sunburst finish stripped...current thinking at the time was to let the wood 'breathe' & get better tone...Paul's is stock except for no pickguard & the reverse (lefty) stringing........
...the first song in the catalog to feature a Casino was "Ticket to Ride"...that's Paul on the intro of John's tune...he did the same thing with George's "Taxman" with the Esquire/Telecaster.........
...glad you noted the acoustic properties of the Casino...that's how John and Paul composed a lot of those songs together in John's living room..........
...my neighbor says I know waaaay too much about this...he's probably right.............
...JoMan...may I suggest couple of songs for you and Markus to do a duet with: "No Where Man" and "Your Bird Can Swing"...............
...Congatulations again on a great guitar..................

dennis: McCartney bought his in winter '64, the others got theirs about a year later. the looking-daft thing was a concern for him and in fact he said that that was the reason why he bought the little hofner, but in the end he actually bought a lefty Hofner. So the idea of buying the Hofner because it was easly convertable is probably a good one, but was never really done...] Wow! And I thought that I had a pretty good grasp on Beatle facts! You guys blew me away. I am truly humbled! JoMan: You were absolutely right about the Hofner-my mistake. Great call on Paul's Esquire! Ol Geezer: Yes, the only time that I recall George with his Casino was on that video as well. I'll have to look closely at my "Anthology" tapes to see if it shows up anywhere else. hcoll: You do know way too much about this stuff-not that it is a bad thing! Thanks everyone for the enlightenment! Dennis.

...thanks dennis...I don't claim any expertise...I'll accept any corrections..........
...JoMan...you have to realize that that none of those songs after the first four albums (basically 'live' studio recordings) can be accurately produced because of the engineering that was done to the instrumentals before the vocals were added.........
...that being said...you and Markus have a great combo that should come close...I believe the two songs mentioned were actually done with John & George on a pair of Lake Placid Blue Strats..............
..."She Said, She Said" and "Here, There & Everywhere" are another good pair to try...............
...if Markus starts to complain about feedback...just remind him that JL ruined many a recording take with feedback...........

On the one picture that features Paul with his Esquire there´s an old Selmer combo amp... (well at that time it wasn´t old, lol) I only once came across a Selmer amp in person, it was a tube head... it belonged to a pal back in the day and was of swiss production. By the way, Selmer is a known saxophone manufacturer.

Check the serial number.
The alphabet in front should give you the factory and place of manufacture, the next 2 digits for the year, the following 2 for the month and the last 3 digits signify the order of its production.
Check this main website's FAQ section where there is an explanation on the serial number.

Oha, JoEpiWong, hold on a second... I guess JoMan´s Casino is american made, not a korean axe... We hardly never discussed the serial numbers of those before... but I bet, and I have high hopes, either CAFeathers or Ol Geezer have knowledge concerning these serial numbers.

We hardly never discussed the serial numbers of those before... but I bet, and I have high hopes, either CAFeathers or Ol Geezer have knowledge concerning these serial numbers. I had been under the impression that these were going to be a limited run (so many maximum) and all would have the same serial number as John's as well as a second serial number of actual manufacture, but I don't know how those were going to be coded.

OK, so let me enlighten you...... ;D ;D ;D
It has John's on the headstock, which is 328393 (which makes it a 1965 built guitar, surprise!!!!) as well as on a blue label beneath the top hole. under the bottom hole however is 1895/1965, which means it number 1895 out of 1965 built. This, as far as I know, IS the serial. So there is no code in there. And no way for me of telling when it was shipped....
And thanks to Jo (no.2, hehe) for answering anyway. Not that you told me anything new. ;D ;D
