...a lot of it rings true......for me the part about being an adult and having many excuses for not practicing..........
...also the part about adults not having the patience to learn.....my teacher talks about this....he'll get new adult students who introduce themselves as experts in their profession....he tells them he doesn't care who they are because they're there to learn to play...or they're having problems with playing that they need to correct....etc.......
...he keeps telling me to be a sponge like the kids and just soak it all up....or....as much as I can at any particular time.............
...don't know if you can see it....in the second picture....the nylon string tie-off on the teacher's classical guitar....looks like mine.....guess I'm doing it right...........

...kinda goes with the territory...when you live around here long enough.....you get used to the "stuff".....it gets slung this way...it gets slung that way.......it gets to the point where we almost don't care....better just to sit back.......watch the brew-haha well up and ebb..............next week it'll be something else................

 hcoll, I had to mention the current "stuff". Congressman Reynolds doesn`t live too far from where I live. He gets some serious press in the Rochester D & C, along with being featured on the local news at every possible turn. Then there are the campaign ads on radio and television..................Man, it`s almost too much to tolerate. The Pols are starting to sound like school children in their negative way. Jim

...I hope Foley gets all that comin' to him.....I getting tired of this internet stuff.....watched one night of DateLine a couple of weeks ago...about all I could stomach.......how stupid can you get.....everything that's done on the internet is an open book.....if this were you or me....we'd be communicating from some jail cell.........................
....it's unfortunate for the GOP's in the House that will be tarnished with this too......looks like there's tough days ahead.......it's not so much the crime....but the cover up....whether real or perceived....that does the most damage.....it'll be interesting to watch how it pans out this close to the Nov elections....................
....I'm sure that there are two U.S. Senators from NYS that are watching this with glee.....and the potential that it represents.................
....Monroe County politics....the Rochester Democrat & Chronicle.....now that takes me back..................
