Our company band has another gig lined up and we are trying to find some classic (70's-90's) rock songs to learn . We are all pretty much amateurs so we are looking for 3 or 4 chord tunes with no real wild solos. Any sugestions?

...oh...were you just asking for song titles.......
....how about Van Morrison's.....Brown Eyed Girl.....pretty sure that falls within your criteria..........
....it's played on both of the Wash, DC classic rock stations....that's right...there's two....the format of what used to be the Oldie Station was changed to be essentially Classic Rock....that prompted an article in the newspaper about the redundancy..............dough..............meanwhile there's nothing being played from the 50's or early 60's...............

CCR`s "Willie and the Poor Boys" is super simple! Give it a go.
