If you have cable and can get the Travel Channel, there's a program called "John Ratzenberger's Made In America" where the former "Cheers" star visits manufacturing plants and gets special behind-the-scenes tours and access to production secrets.
I just found out there's an episode where he goes to the Fender guitar plant, and I missed it. But, it's supposed to be repeating on June 20 at 9PM, June 21 at Midnight, and and June 24 at 4PM. These times may be Eastern (check your local listings, of course).
