I don't know about beans, but I want photos of that bar stol . How does it count as you musical equipment? Do you play piano? I quess you could call it a piano bench. It is just an X frame with a padded seat for sitting at the keyboard.

I don't know about beans, but I want photos of that bar stool. How does it count as your musical equipment? I know Chet already answered your question, but coincidentally back when I was traveling playing solo gigs with an acoustic Ovation guitar I began dragging a wooden stool around with me so I could have a standard feel for the thing sitting night to night.

...when I first started playing I acquired things that I thought were necessary...like a bar stool.....I'd seen guitar players in bars use them...no arms or back to get in the way of my newly found acoustic...........
...soon found out how much more comfortable the sofa was............. ;D
...when we finished remodeling the kitchen...there was a cabinet door left over...a mistake by Home Despot...rather than throw it out...it now sits on top of the bar stool with the extension speaker on top of it......
...then there was that classical foot rest...thought I might need that too................
...we've all probably picked things up over the years that we now wonder..."what in the heck was I thinking....."

All very reasonable answers! I nkow what you mean about feeling at home on a special chair. I find it pretty inconvinient to sit on a chair and play, so maybe a bar stol would be wise...

They're both complete peices of crap. The guitar has this bridge that sticks into you hand and I swear the action is as low as you can set it and its still only usful for slide. That is if the guitar actually can be heard over the hum (more like a roar actually)

Hmm, who would have guessed that a 50$ guitar would be crap?

Post by Zeppelin Rules on Mar 23, 2006 22:02:56 GMT -5
Still it was that $50 peice of crap that sparked my intrest in playing the guitar.

Ok! And when you went over to another guitar, and about a year after when you play the crap guitar again, you realize that the intonation sucks?
