Woohoo, to me it looks rather ugly, just my opinion... a little alike the ugly guitars german manufactures like Framus and Höfner in the 60´s and 70´s had. Brrrrrrr...

I owned an Epiphone Crestwood Deluxe (three mini-humbuckers) in the late 60's /early 70's (I traded it for an Epiphone Riviera in about '72) and it was an awesome guitar-think SG with mini-humbuckers. I really liked it. The problem is the guitar on E Bay is an "Olympic Double". A much lower end guitar with two very cheesy single coil pickups. The reason it looks like the cheaper knock off guitars is the European makers (German and Italian) were trying to emulate the style of the popular American guitars of the day and they never quite hit the mark. Here's a link to the Olympic Double. www.provide.net/~cfh/epiphon2.html#olyGreg
