Feel free to join me in wishing one of my biggest heroes out there music-wise a happy 79th Birthday!
On October 18th, 1926 Charles Edward Anderson Berry was born "deep down in Louisiana".
I'm sure you will agree with me that he has truly revolutionized the music scene of the 50s as well as guitar playing up until now. He was the first true guitar god and will always stay my big guitar hero. Without Chuck Berry there would be no Beatles, no Stones, no whoever as we know them.
Go Chuck Go and keep going for a little while longer, I'm planning to come over to see you some time next year or so!
