anyone have cable tv out there?what are your likes/dislikes and what do i need to watch out for before picking a cable company? thanks.

Go Satellitte. Either Dish Network or Direct TV. Better programming, Better picture, Better Prices.

I had Comcast Cable for many years and twice a year they would raise their rates, but not improve or add programming. I switched to DISH Network a couple of years ago, I get more programming for less money. I just recently upgraded my reciever to an HDTV reciever and added HD programming and I'm still paying less than I was with Cable.
And Yes, Customer Service is MUCH BETTER!!!!!

I should clarify my earlier post....I've had both cable and DirecTV....never had DISH Network. My neighbor across the street is a DISH Network customer and has been for many years. He swears by their customer service as I do DirecTV. Ssince both are under the same ownership umbrella it stands to reason that their customer service will be similar.
Historically, calling the cable company for anything is akin to beating one's own head against the wall. Not so with the sat companies, they actually seem to value and appreciate their customers.
