....he's doing something with his band............................
...............practicing for a big show..................................
...............jigging...maybe they don't have to practice.....
....he's on holiday....understand that's big in Europe this time of year.............

 Oha, you were all a bit worried? ;D Don´t panic, the priest is around! ;D Well, seemigly a lot of mail gets lost in the vastness of the internet, lol. I did not receive an email from you, Chet... But I wrote you one, maybe you did not receive it as well? I am just a little busy at the time with other projects, i.e. my band, another band and some of my photography stuff... AND: It´s finally summer in Germany and I do alot of outdoor activities as BBQing and drinking beer.  So I haven´t spent much time here on the internet, but I will be back soon, or pop in from time to time during the next days. I´m just a little too busy with different things.  But it´s nice to see you missed me!

Hey Steele! I think I mixed something up. But isn't there "das Oktober Festival" in Hamburg every year? I've heard that it's a festival where the whole german population gets together in a small area and drink all kinds of beers. Is it true? And more importantly, are you there every year?
(I did learn this in school on my german lessons, but the books are from the 80's)

well, as the name says, the oktoberfest takes place in october (or september/october) and it's in munich, but the rest is basically true.
not the just the germans, but also the austrians and lots of other beer-drinking species enjoy the oktoberfest.

I couldn't remember the name in the first post, but when I did I realized that it wasn't time for it now. Are you going there yearly? |

..."Octo-" refers to the number eight...as in....
............octogon...eight-sided.............
............octopus...eight-legged Detroit Red Wing goal trophy...........
...Why is October the 10th month instead of the 8th month...there's got to be a reason............
...I know August is named after Ceasar Augustus.......
...I'm not trying to re-schedule Oktoberfest to August...as if any of us needed an excuse...............
