Just a quick note to everyone. The wife and I are headed up to NY for a few weeks for a visit with our kids and grandkids, and to attend our middle son`s wedding. Just found out from our eldest son (the father of our 2 granddaughters) that the new baby due in December is a BOY!!!!!! WoooooooHoooooooooo!!!!!!! The Mrs. and I already went shopping for him this afternoon. She, of course, bought clothes and some other practical things, and I bought him a Football. I`ll try to check in here from time to time. Everybody stay safe and well.
Jim

;D Hey gang. Thanks for the good wishes from all. Feels good to be home again. I guess I`ve got some reading to do here! Hope everyone is well. ExCap, we went to the Albany area to visit with the kids and grandkids, then headed out to Brockport (near Rochester) for the wedding. Our oldest son lives in Brunswick, NY, with his wife and 2-1/2 children, and our youngest son lives in Menands, NY with his fiance. Our middle son lives in Clarkson, NY with his new Mrs. We had a great time with all the festivities, but had to head home on Monday. Where are you on Long Island? I have some friends in Shirley, and St. James. My youngest boy`s fiance has an uncle in L.I. He`s a NYPD Detective (Vice) formerly with the Street Crimes Unit. My best buddy is in New Rochelle. He was a Desk Sgt. in Manhattan South when he retired. 20 & out.

Hey JoMan, Oneonta is very near where we were. Beautiful country up there isn`t it? My Neice goes to school at State University of New York-Oneonta. If I remember correctly from my younger days, it`s one heck of a party town. Jim

Jimboe, I live in Seaford, in Nassau County. I have been up to Albany area alot over the last few years. My sister-in-law lives in Clifton Park and my inlaws moved up there for awhile, now they are back on Long Island. We used to love going up there when my in-laws lived there. We would drop the kids off at their house and me and the wife would get a room at a hotel in Saratoga Springs and have fun there for a few days. Now that the in-laws are back on LI, it's not too often we go up there. I'm sure we will get back

Before that I lived in (are you ready....) Clifton Park, NY. My wife was a shift Manager at McDonalds on Rte 146 for a couple of years, then went to work for Eckerds Pharmacy For a few more before we moved South. Our apartment was at the intersection of Rts 9 & 146, just East of I-87. This world gets smaller every day. Saratoga is awesome. I`ve heard it`s the August place to be. Jim
