Yup you gussed it. Ol'Geezer was nice enough to part with (formerly) his Les Paul Classic trans blue Quilt top.
I got her yesterday Friday July 30th via FedEx in perfect condition. She looks a bit different from the picture in the gallery. To me she has a bit more of a greenish blue tint to her. I like the way the guitar looks in person even more than the picture.
He told me that he only played it like once or twice. Once when it arived and again after he put the black speed nobs on. Since then it has been sitting in the Epi case it came in.( I got the case with the guitar)
She plays sweet even though he said he never set her up. Even had the original strings on her. I am putting Dean Markley or Ernie Ball 10s (whatever I have in my gig bag) on her as soon as I get a day off, so I can take my time and polish her up real nice like and then set the action to taste.
Full review coming soon.

I would like to thank all of those that made this possible for me. Mom well mainly Dad for teaching me to play. My 6th grade teacher Mrs. Franks for teaching me to type.(::rim shot: And Epiphone Guitars for making it possible for me to afford a real Les Paul. No but seriously fellas thanks for making me feel welcome here and not making me feel completely stupid when I gave a wrong answer. I answered or comented to the best of my knowlidge and if my reply was wrong then I learned from those who did know. And thanks to Ol'Geezer for selling me my new Les Paul Classic Trans Blue Quilt Top. Guitar Hero? Yeah in my dreams. But it does have a nice ring to it. ;D ;D ;D ;D Thanks again Zac

;D ... LUCKY!!! ;D Would it be to bold to see how much that beuty cost ya? Well lets just say it was a shade less than a new one. Plus he threw in the case as well. Geez is a great guy to part with it so I might have it. I like it better than the others I have seen, since it came without a pickguard and has no holes for one. I would have taken it off first thing if it had one and then had open holes there. Again, many thanks man, I sure love that guitar. Zac p.s. I agree with Steel and Geez, this place is great. I am better off for joining. You can't say that about many forums.

Im gonna pass on the Bigsby bro... ;D ;D ;D but it was a damn fine joke. Down the road I may go with all black hardware, pickup trim, toggle switch tip and ring and maybe even a black nut to go all the way. But for now I can't take my eyes off her as is. Since I got her last friday I have spent all my time either playing the guitar, looking at the guitar or at work thinking about playing or looking at the guitar. ;D ;D ;D

Yes, good joke hcoll. It seemed increasingly silly for me to have it sitting unused when a fellow EpiFriend was really wanting one just like it and could be getting enjoyment out of it ...as is now happening!
