I'm currently living with two Marine reservists, one of whom recently had the audacity to clog the toilet and leave town for the weekend (they spent a while in Iraq but made it back before it got too rotten). I'm finishing up two degrees right now and hope to God I can make it into grad school, after which I'm hoping to God someone will pity and hire me. Ty

Thanks for all your posts. We really have a diverse group of people and trades here. Police, military, truckers, taxi drivers, electronics experts, television techs, sound techs, salesmen, construction worker to culinary dream job, and everything from students to big management types. What a corporation we could form if given the chance and the money huh? I can't begin to imagine all the possibilities, but there sure is some talent here in this forum.

I`m permanently disabled from a back injury I had 10 years ago. Prior to that i was a "valveman". I worked for a small concern building valves used on fire trucks, and much, much larger valves used in municipal water supplies. The valves on the fire trucks weighed about 40 Lbs. the water supply valves weighed anywhere between 60 Lbs to 3-1/2 TONS, depending on their application. Big `uns! Jim

Was an electrician for about 10 years..back problems ended that. The next 8 years were spent in hospitality in various supervisory and Front Office Management roles. After 8 years I was pretty burned out on that..moved to the Marketing Dept at the ski resort I work at for a few years. That was pretty cool..website mainteneance, coordinating photo shots etc...but it was a 70 hour week from November to April. Becoming a single dad just over a year ago forced me to look for a work schedule that better fit my kids school schedule..so I ended up moving to the Accounting Dept as Accounts Payable...5 days a week year-round...no weekends.....I'm a happy man.
Dream job..I'm getting too old...would have loved to play baseball for a living though.

I am a Conductor for a major Canadian railway, and just for fun I am also Deputy Chief of the local volunteer fire department. My dream job would be to build custom choppers and guitars that came as a matched pair

My dream job would be to build custom choppers and guitars that came as a matched pair Great idea. I bet you could make some cash and maybe even become well known. We recently had a car and cycle show here at my work. The guy putting on the show said he tried to get the Tuttles from OC to come. For Jr. and Sr. it was a flat rate of $25,000.00 + 4star hotell, limo and all expenses piad. So about $35,000.00 out of pocket and they take home the 25 large. Not a bad pay check just for showing up and signing autographs. Oh yea that cost did not include them bringing any bikes with them. I have some cool pics from that show if ya want to see them, zacattack.yafro.com/ Zac

Ya it would be nice to make that kind of cash, but I would prefer to keep the price in a range that average working people could afford. I would like to have "real" bikers and guitar players using my bikes and guitars every day, rather than selling to a bunch of "posers" who wouldn't really appreciate what they have, let alone know how to ride or play!
